22nd June 2020 Windsurfing: Felixstowe Dip Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 8kts Surf / Sea State: Lumpy Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: warm Weather: Sunny Max Speed: 12.3 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 4.1 nm (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Tried a late low tide evening session at the dip but missed it. All came in as I arrived, but rigged 7.8 / foil board, and just about manage to launch. The wind kept dropping although there were one or two gusts to tempt. The sea was really lumpy despite low tide and when I did fly I couldn't clear on coming waves. Hate the place for foiling. The plan this evening was 8.5 and 146 JP fin board. Should av turned up a couple of hours earlier. |
